Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed 8 November 2026

Kernelry is operated by Kernelry LLC. We want the site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab), Level AA.

Where we are today

Kernelry partially conforms with WCAG 2.2 AA. We have not claimed full conformance, because we have not had an independent audit and have not yet tested the site with screen readers.

What we do check, and keep checking:

  • Colour contrast of text, buttons and form fields is held to the WCAG minimums by an automated test.
  • Our main public pages are scanned with the axe accessibility engine in a real browser, on a desktop and a phone width.
  • Page structure (headings, landmarks, a skip link), keyboard focus and layout at 320 pixels wide are tested on those pages in Chrome.

Settings you can change

You do not need to change anything for the site to work. If it helps, the Accessibility panel lets you set text size, high contrast, reduced motion, a more readable font, underlined links and larger tap targets. Your choices are saved on this device only and are never sent to us.

Known limitations

  • Bot checks. Sign-in, sign-up, password reset and the contact form use Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party service we do not control. It usually runs without asking you to do anything. If it stops you, email [email protected] and we will help you directly.
  • Checkout. Payment pages are run by our payment provider, not by us. Tell us if you hit a barrier and we will raise it with them and help you complete the purchase another way.
  • Spoken questions. Interview questions are read aloud with synthetic speech, and every question is also shown as text. Answering by voice is optional; typing always works.
  • Text size. The text size setting scales most text, but a few small fixed-size labels on the practice screen do not grow with it. Browser zoom does scale them.
  • Staff-only areas. The admin console and the hands-on practice labs are not open to customers today and are not covered by this statement. We will bring labs into scope before they open to customers.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on Kernelry is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Use the Contact page and start your message with "Accessibility", or email [email protected]. Say which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and, if you are comfortable sharing it, what assistive technology you use.

We reply within 5 business days. For a barrier that stops you using the service, we will tell you within 10 business days how and when we will fix it, or what we can do for you in the meantime. Accessibility reports are handled ahead of ordinary bugs.
